Overview:

To meet the urgent need for covid-19 testing in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, in partnership with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Clinical Microbiology Lab, rapidly built and deployed an emergency COVID-19 viral testing facility. Part of the testing pipeline utilised the Agilent Bravo for liquid handling together with the Bio-Rad CFX for qPCR. Extracted RNA samples in a 96well plate were tested in triplicate on 384well plates, and example of using the increased throughput of higher well count for increased reliability.
